Notes from our September Monthly Meeting

At our September monthly meeting, we heard from Maggie Palazzolo, sitting Councilwoman and candidate for re-election for Mariemont Village Council.

We also heard from the Counsel on Aging about the specifics on the senior services levy and how important passing the increase in November is to caring for our senior citizens who are not served by other state and federal programs.

And, we had another visit from Darlene Rogers, our candidate for judge in Hamilton County’s municipal court district 4, too!

Thank you Mike Tighe for picking up a bunch of yard signs for folks to take home with them from the meeting! It’s great seeing signs out for candidates who have visited our club, isn’t it? Thanks for helping them build name recognition in your neighborhood!

If you did not get a yard sign, please do not hesitate to reach out to your ward chair – we are happy to get one to you! You can reach your ward chair directly by calling (513) 257-2432 and dialing their extension.

The first yard signs for Carl Jones’ campaign for Columbia Township Trustee have arrived! In addition to campaign signs, Carl has “Try To Drive 25 – Children at Play” signs, which are sponsored by his campaign. Volunteers will be hitting the streets in Columbia Township’s B & F precincts on Saturday, September 30th in Madison Place to introduce Carl, get the word out about our club, and help keep our streets a little safer. They can use your help, too! Stop by Carl’s at 6934 Cambridge Saturday the 30th at noon to take part or grab a sign for your yard. For questions or to sign up to help another day call Carl at (513) 271-9637.
